Girl's Bathroom Third-floor

This is the Girl's bathroom on the third-floor corridor.

Step inside, don't fear, no sobbing ghost linger here.
There is no snake link, in the bathroom sink.
So it's rather boring to go in, so might as well go into a bin.

But then again, when is the girl's bathroom ever boring?
Cause there is more than just some bladders poring.

Celina Deville ((lol)) wandered into the bathroom, feeling smug.
After all, Darien Vaight, a friend of a friend while he was at Durmstrang, had just asked her to the Yule Ball.
Humming quietly, she checked her hair in the mirror.

((yes, be amazed at my poetic skills lol.))

Diana flushed the toilet before coming out. She headed for the sinks and started to wash her hands. She gave the girl already there a quick smile. The girl, seemed to be in from one of the Beauxbatons as she wasn't wearing black Hogwarts robes but instead, powdered blue ones.

Celina smiled quickly at the two Hogwarts girls and waved her wand, causing a hairbrush to appear. She began brushing her hair, still feeling smug.

"Oh, I'm good, you?" Diana said politely at the newcomer. She didn't really know her but Diana had seen her around, they were in the same house after all.

"Oui, naturalment I am...very well." Celina replied to the girl breathing carefully at the sink.
Deciding that now would be a good time to brag, she continued. "Oui, being asked to the ball by a Slythereen is very...upleefting, yes?"

Diana blinked. Already her thoughts were on a certain Slytherin... It couldn't possibly... No. She laughed inwardly. Then stopped. Could it? No. No.... No? She could ask her. Yes, that would clarify it. No that's stupid. She didn't even know the girl. Darien wouldn't... Would he?

Well she did leave him rather dateless and he'd need a date so why wouldn't he?

He would... its just that Diana sort of lived on the illusion that Darien would go to the ball alone....

You're so stupid Diana.

"Who asked you to the ball?"

Good job Diana, even stupider.

Celina continued brushing her hair.
"An old freend of mine, I knew eem from Durstraang. Ees name is Darien Vaight, you know of eem?"

Diana swore inwardly. Outwardly she accidentally opened the tap to the extreme making water splash out everywhere, making her swear outwardly as well.

Celina closed her eyes as water droplets showered her.
"Watch what you are do-eeng!"

She vanished the hairbrush and dried herself with her wand. Pushing her blonde hair back from her face meticulously, she continued.

"So I take eet you know of eem?" She giggled slightly. "But zen again 'oo would not? 'Ee is rather good-lookeeng, oui? Ze rebels are always so..." She searched for the right word. "So...tempteeng."

She smiled and examined her reflection in the mirror.

Diana muttered a quick apology and managed to flick the rest of the water away.

"I..." Diana started not sure what to say. "I know of him...."

If Darien wanted to ask this girl to the ball well that was really his business wasn't it?
It was her business too....
Stupid, Diana. Stupid. You two are broken up!

"How do you know Darien Vaight?" Diana said trying to cover her flustered state. Something told her the last thing this girl needed to know was that she'd just ended a relationship with her now Yule Ball date.

Celina raised an eyebrow at the flustered change in the Hogwarts student.

"Vell...ve 'ad an exchange wiz ees school...some of zem came to see us, and a few of uz went to vizit zeir school." She shuddered. "I did not care for eet much, but I did care for 'is...gang...Ve remained in touch for a few years...And my friends and 'is used to meet up a lot over ze 'olidays. I vent out wiz most of 'is friends, but not eem...yet."
She giggled. "But I must say zat being invited to ze ball ees encouraging yes..." A thought occured to her. "Do you know if 'ee is dateeng anyvon 'ere?"

"You went out with most of his friends?" Diana said not bothering to keep the distaste from her voice. She was disliking this girl every second she stood there. How could Darien have asked her? Didn't he have any taste?

"He..." Diana stopped herself. She was about to say he was dating someone but... that would have been a lie. They were broken up already. "I haven't the foggiest..."

Celina raised an eyebrow and turned to face the girl directly.

"Oui...Eet is 'ardly uncommon to date! 'As 'Ogwarts not yet entered ze twentieth centuary? Eet would not surprise me..."

She glanced around at the pipes and vaguely dirty tiles with disgust.

Celina raised her eyebrow.

"I theenk you are eizer ((either)) 'urt from 'is rejection...or an ex of 'is. I am not stupeed. I can see you care for eem."

Her lip curled in a smirk.

"You are...transparent..." ((transpar-au-nt))

((...Fight, fight, fight...))

Diana felt her cheeks flush with embarrassment and anger. Who did this girl think she was?

"You're wrong, I don't care for him anymore." Diana breathed out. You are a Prefect and a Champion you can't hex her... She wasn't going to take the bate. That's all this girl wanted anyway, to see her angry.

Celina's eyes sparkled with mirth.

"Anymore...Zat is also a lie I theenk..." She noted the colours on the girl's uniform.

"Strange zho...I always thought Darien would go for somevon less...Greeffindor... Zan you. I wouldn't 'av thought you were 'is type..."

Just walk away, just walk away...

"Oh and I suppose you're an expert of what his type is?" Diana glared. Stupid Diana! Why did you do that?

"Clearly more zan you...After all...'E 'as asked me to ze ball..."

Celina returned her gaze to the mirror and waved her wand, applying a miniscule amount of mascara.
She examined her blue Beaubaton's robes and realigned the emblem slightly, so that it was slightly off-centre. Much better.

Diana, do not do what you are thinking of doing, she isn't worth it, you are a Gryffindor Prefect, do not - Diana's conscience was drowned by the sound of a hex leaving her mouth.

"Locomotor Mortis!"

Celina's eyes narrowed and she raised her wand lazily.

The hex deflected, a glint appeared in her eyes.

"Oui. And dat is why ze french von in 1066 et 1998. Now...Incarcerous!"

((...Eupa glares at the french...in general. WE ONLY LOST AS A CUNNING PLAN!...all better. Sorry, I'm English, I had to have a rant there... =D))

A fuming Diana blocked the jinx.

"It doesn't matter to me if the french won," Diana said. "I honestly thought Darien had better taste. Quite a stepdown, if you ask me."

"Levicorpus!"

Caught off-guard, Celina soared into the air, but managed to still grasp her wand.

Liveracorpus... She thought, as she was released, and landed on her hands.

Relaxing, she allowed herself to fall backwards, standing up.

"...Give eet up 'Ogwarts, Darien is mine."

Non-verbally, she cast a blasting curse.

Diana was launched backwards right into a stall. Without getting up she cast her rellatiation.

"Avis Oppugno!" Several birds flew from Diana's wand and launched themselves at the frenchwoman.

"He only asked you for lack of a better option." Diana said getting up on her feet.

Ana peered cautiously out of the stall.
Well, she was hardly going to risk her own neck and get in the middle of that...
Darien...You know you and Diana are going through a rough patch?
...Yes.
Well get the hell to the third-floor girl's bathroom, Now!

Celina laughed and blasted the birds into dust.
"Because to 'im, there is none better than moi! Alerte Ascendare!"

Darien hurtled along the third-floor corridor. What did Ana mean about Diana??
