The Duran's home- England

Juria smiled at her, still however feeling guilty about the whole "forced to be evil" thing. She felt like she had a huge secret that the kids should know about, but if they did know then they would not trust her ever, ever again.

"Well I promise you I will be a good godmother."

Juria wondered if she COULD be a good godmother or not... but she would defiantly try.

"I think you could be a good godmother," smiled Cosette still hearing banging noises from up above in Delilah's room.

Juria smiled and said,

"Thanks, ill try my best... but dont think you can walk all over me."

Juria winked at Cosette, in a attempt to get her to laugh.

"Oh don't worry I won't," Cosette laughed.
"May I offer you anything to drink?" she asked not knowing what else to say.

Juria smiled at the girl's polite attitude. Juria didnt really drink anything, due to the half vamprie thing, however she smiled and said,

"Sure, if its not a bother. That tea was very delicious."

Juria wanted to make Cosette happy for helping out.

Cosette smiled "I'll be right back," and went back into the kitchen to make some tea for herself and Juria. Within minutes she came back and gave Juria her tea, "be careful it's hot," she warned taking a tiny sip of her tea.

Juria smiled and said in German,

"Danke" ((thank you XD))

Juria took a sip of her tea as well, it tasted good, however Juria felt like she didnt need it. Nonetheless, she drank the heated beverage.

"Is that German you spoke?" Cosette asked curiously.

Juria laughed slightly and said,

"Yes, in fact it is... I like using different forms of languages from time to time, it keeps it interesting."

Juria smiled. She didn't want to brag, but she knew 4 other languages fluently and a little of another. The ones she knew fluently were Spanish, German, Finnish, and Indian. She knew a few phrases in Japanese, but her favorite to speak was German.

Juria took a sip of her tea, keeping the information to herself. She tried to change the topic off of her knowing different languages and said,

"I wonder when your sister will be down."

"probably never," Cosette laughed, "once shes up there making herself glamorous she will never get down until she is perfect."

Juria raised her eyebrow but after a few more moments had passed, she got up,

"You dont mind if I look around a little do you?"

She asked her -now- goddaughter. as she stood up, she pulled her sleeve-gloves up so that they stretched over her forearm. She quickly muttered,

"Subsisto sursum"

and the sleeve-gloves seemed to stay up on their own, without falling down at all.

Cosette nodded, "You may." She heard Juria mumble something but couldn't quiet hear it and didn't worry about it.

Juria smiled and stood up slowly. She looked around at the room then went to the shelf that held all sorts of pictures. She smiled to herself as she saw her two friends at their wedding, when the two girls were born, some other pictures of them as a family, and different holiday ones.

Juria was slightly sad she missed out on so much. If she had been around, she probably would have been the maid of honor. That or someone important. Juria had an almost sad look in her eyes as she saw the pictures of the past she missed out being a part of. She also was slightly sad that it was unfortunately true that, she had had no life.

Cosette followed her smiling looking at Juria to see her reactions. She seemed sad, "Juria? Are you ok?" She asked.

Juria looked over to Cosette and broke out of her thoughts.

"Oh yeah, I'm fine, just sad that I wasn’t able to be at your parents wedding or be here when you were growing up."

Juria smiled, but then was slightly scared if Cosette were to ask where she had been.

Cosette looked saddened also, "I wish I knew you when I was little, because now it seems kind of awkward just knowing your my godmother." Cosette gave a week smile.

Juria smiled and said,

"Well if I would have been able to, I would have been an excellent Godmother."

"I'm sure you would," Cosette smiled again, her face lit up with happiness.

Juria smiled then laughed,

"Yeah, I would have told you all kinds of stories that your parents would not want me to tell. And all sorts of other stuff that your parents would yell at us for... I would have been like a regular kid with you two."

Juria smiled and dreamed about what would have happened if she had not been subject to the curse.

Cosette laughed and looked out the window, It was getting dark. The sun was setting and the sky was a mixture of yellow and red smeared around the setting sun. The moon began to rise, and stars started coming out.
Cosette looked back at Juria and sighed, "I miss my parents," she said softly.

Juria smiled and went to where Cosette was sitting and sat down by her. She angled her body towards the girl and said,

"I know…they will be back before you know it. I know what you are going through, I miss my parents also."

Juria wanted to let the girl know that she was there for her.

"You lost your parents?" Cosette asked curiously.

Juria's eyes widened quickly,

"Uhh...err... well yeah, I... lost them."

Juria mentally cursed herself for bringing her parent's into the conversation. Juria however knew it was safe enough to say things about them and still not get to the fact that she was... well kicked out.

"They were great parents, just like yours are... but I was an only child."

Juria chuckled and smiled to the girl.

"That's so sad.... I would not be able to live if my family....." Cosette couldn't finish the sentence, just thinking about that makes her sad and depressed. She quickly smiled shoving the thought out of her mind and changed the subject.

"So do you have any siblings?" Cosette asked randomly trying to start up a conversation.

Juria heart felt as if it was stabbed and every pulse that she felt was another push of the knife. Yes, if Cosette had wanted to find a hard topic for Juria to contain herself, she had found it.

"No..."

Juria kept her voice steady, but she wanted to break into tears. Juria turned towards the window and the setting sun and said,

"She um... well she unfortunately died... so... no, not really..."

Juria didn’t mention that the unfortunate way she died was by her own hand.

"You should feel lucky to have a sister."

Juria smiled a little bit sadly to the girl.
