Greenhouse Three (Intermediate Plants)

Greenhouse Three contains the slightly more dangerous plants that most students would probably prefer to get their hands on. However, Ethan refuses to admit any student into this greenhouse that doesn't have protective gear physically on the appropriate parts or on one's person. Teething Venomous Tentaculi for everyone!

A sheet of parchment with the usual list of plants can be found affixed to the door. However, there is also a warning:

Professor Ethan Addams stood at the very back of the greenhouse - more or less the front of the classroom - and waited for his students to file on in. The worktables were lined with ceramic pots. Various supplies such as dirt, dragon dung manure, and pruning shears interspersed through the vacant space. In the center of each table was also a box of earmuffs of varying colors. The students would be required to bring their own gloves, though Ethan made sure to have extras in the supplies cupboard.

The name upon the chalkboard read the name Professor E. M. Addams.

Below it was a single word written with an artistic flourish to make it look more... leafy:




Ethan sat at his desk, tending to a bonsai tree while he waited for the students to arrive...

Helena, Nicolas and Diana seemed to be the first ones to go in.

"Merlin Diana, you made me rush! I still wanted another muffin!" Nicolas whined.

Diana rolled her eyes and sat down. Helena and Nicolas sat on either side of her.

Ethan looked up when the three Gryffindors entered the greenhouse. "Welcome to Herbology!" he greeted them warmly. "While we're waiting for everybody, why don't you three select a pair of earmuffs... there's only a few pair with the antennae on the top, I'm afraid." After a subtle nod toward the box, Ethan once again returned his optical focus to the tree in front of him. However, his ears were on the alert. It was a habit that came with being both a father and a writer.
