The Living Room

Calista blinked. "Um...Good for you? Hold onto that social 'life' of yours it might come in useful." She air quoted and smirked.

Armando didn't comment. Mostly because he wasn't going out, in that sense of the word, but rather going out literally... to the main Hunter Quarters.

((It's okay, I hope you better now... XD))

Calista blinked. "Any particular rules you need to inform me of? Don't answer the door, telephone, feed the imaginary bunny, that kind of thing?"

Armando shook his head 'no' but then stop in mid-motion. He put his finger up in the air and squared his shoulders before saying, "Don't eat Mary."

Calista rolled her eyes. "Well I'm sure she'd be happy to devour you...I wouldn't want to interfere with her schemes."

Armando chuckled and went out the door, locking it swiftly behind him.

Calista waited about four seconds after the door shut before sighing, and rubbing a tired hand across her eyes.

What was wrong with her?

Denial. Duh.
Rhetorical question.
And now it's just a question.

Why can't you just admit it?!

((a while later))

"I don't love him! I don't! I just don't! End of story!" Calista stopped pacing.

"...Do I?" Calista asked herself...aloud. ((lol))

Calista stood with her backt to the door.

"Oh my god! This is ridiculous! I'm talking to myself, asking myself if I'm in love with a slayer?! A slayer!! I can't fall in love with a slayer! I just CAN'T!"

There was a pause as Calista warred with her feelings.

"...Can I? Oh god...I can't believe this...He...I...He kissed me...I...Oh, what is wrong with me?!" Calista leant against the doorframe, looking away from the door. "...I'm in love with a Slayer. A Slayer who's holding me hostage. My life is so messed up."

Armando stood there quietly. As a slayer, he'd had the capability to sneak up on people... vampires. However, he accidentally hit his foot at the edge of a table, making a sound.

Calista jumped. Literally.

"W-W-When did you get there?!...I-Wasn't-What-Did...did you hear any of that?"

"I just got here actually," Armando said. "Ten minutes ago."

Calista swore. "Um...Yeah...This is really quite awkward."

She paused. "And um...feel free to forget everything I just said...in the long monologue/internal discussion...thing." She glanced down at the floor, avoiding his gaze.

Armando approached her. "You mean," He crossed his arms. "About the fact that you love me?"

Calista glanced up, suddenly afraid.

"...Yes. I mean, it's probably messed up and I doubt you feel anything like the same way..."

"You're a horrible vampire, you know that?" Armando said, nearing her still. "But then again, I'm a horrible slayer. Keeping you here, when you're supposed to be vampire dust, kissing you when I'm supposed to be fighting you... loving you when I'm supposed to hate you... I guess we make the perfect couple."

"...What?" Calista wasn't sure she'd heard correctly.

"Hmm.. what happened to your enchanced Vampire senses?" Armando asked, amused.

Calista smirked. "Maybe they're restricted to proper vampires."

Armando smiled. "That's unfortunate. So I wager you didn't hear my love confession."

Calista laughed. "I probably didn't." She stepped forwards slightly.

"Well that's a shame," Armando said. "Coz' I don't want to repeat it."

Calista sighed. "Hm...well in that case...I'll just have to go back to my room."

But Armando was quick and he pulled her back, into a passionate kiss.

Calista kissed him back, before pulling away for air. "You do realise this is going to make our "careers" rather difficult."

"I care not." Armando said. "Our careers as you say, is pretty much crap anyway."
