The stables

Darien struggled to climb onto the unicorn's back, eventually conjuring steps to help him.
"Why do I get the feeling you're going to send my flying over your head or something?" He grumbled, still holding the reins and with a fingertip on the horn.
The steps disappeared and he suddenly realised he didn't know how to ride.
"Oh...merlin's-"

Obsidian broke into a run.

"I would hold on if I were you" he had a amused tone in his "voice"

He quickly gained speed and galloped along the edge of the forbidden forest.

Darien clung on around the unicorn's neck, swearing, words whipped away in the wind.
"I am not taking the blame for this..." He muttered, realising that despite his fear, he was having fun. He managed to keep his balance, miraculously, and began to raise his head and look around at the scenery hurtling past.
He wooped as they raced along, laughing as the wind blew past, and nearly made him choke.

Coming to a stop after 10 min of running Obsidian came to a slower walk.

"Now was that so bad?" he asked still amused by the boys reaction.

"I think I swallowed about fifteen flies...But yeah, that could've been worse."
Darien swung both his legs over one side and jumped, jarring his legs as he hit the floor.
"Yowch..." He muttered, shaking his muscles to get rid of the cramp that his clinging had caused.
"What will the Headmistress say?"

Obsidian scoffed "Probably be smirking ear to ear with that I told you so look on her face....not looking forward to I hate it when she is right"

"You and me both." Darien grunted.
"I will never hear the end of this...I just hope Nicolas doesn't find out...Him and his precious flying pony..." He snarled.

At the mention of the other horse Obsidian stiffened , but more out of annoyance.

"You mean the sugar high canary, that looks like a horse?"

"Yeah that one."
Darien answered.
"Which other flying horse happens to eat more sugar than a class of small toddlers?"

((Persephone might make an appearance if you two keep on insulting her.))

((lol could she?..... lol yes..... I was hoping it would get your attention))

((Alright, your wish is my command. XD Time for some horse talk! Note: Darien can't hear whatever Persephone is saying so... Obsidian might want to translate for him."

Persephone was trotting aimlessly through the grounds when she saw a curious black unicorn.

"Obsidian?"

Obsidian tensed and stomped the ground as the other horse came into view.

"Not you again.... you flying canary"

"Shut your mouth you, no one likes you." Persephone said turning to walk away.

"What'd she say?" Darien hissed out of the corner of his mouth to Obsidien.
((can he hear persephone speak?))

Persephone was walking away and then she heard Darien Vaight's voice.

She ran towards him, fully intending to attack, but just as she would have made contact, she pulled back.

"What is he doing here?"

Darien raised an eyebrow.
"Oh look Obsidien, I think it's had too much sugar...it can't even walk in a straight line any more..."
He sniggered, exposing wolfish teeth, long and curving.
"How's the back Candy girl? I heard you got pretty beaten up..."

Persephone decided to turn around... and kick him.

Darien ducked, rolling backwards and changing into a wolf in mid-roll.
"Come on horsey, time for you to get defeated again!"

"Look at the coward," Persephone said. "Figures you'd associate yourself with him."

"Um, pony, I can't hear you...speak english!" Darien taunted.
He wondered if there was a spell for understanding animals...but then he was a wolf animagus...maybe that would work...
He shut off his human ears and most of his mind became wolf. He hoped it would work...

((It should, Sirius was able to talk to Crookshanks in Animagus form right?))

"Well did that just occur to you?" Persephone laughed. "So there's that infamous thick skull of yours."

Obsidian reared kinking his front hoves infornt of him " you want to fight canary? I will fight!"
