Cottage of Darien and Diana Vaight

Darien bounced over, and smiled encouragingly. "Come on you two...its bouncy!"

Eliza laughed and gave Diana a quick hug. "Owkay, Liza go on wiv Fwitzy and Dar-Dar."

Darien scooped Eliza up, holding her so she could still reach to hold Fitz's hand. He started bouncing gently on the castle.
"Having fun Fitz? Eliza?"

Eliza gurgled and looked down at her brother. "Liza stand."

"Okay, if you're sure...Hang onto Fitz's hand." Darien placed Eliza on the floor, but she fell onto the bouncy floor of the castle. She giggled as she bounced. Darien grinned and began bouncing carefully around the two children, Eliza wooping and giggling, still holding onto her brother.
"Fwitzy like?"

Fitz nodded laughing, he was enjoying himself.

Diana however, felt rather ill watching the three go up and down. "I'll be right back, I just feel slightly nauseous...."

Darien darted over. "Why? What's wrong? Do you need anything?"

His eyes were wide and fearful.

Eliza giggled. "Fwitzy bwouncy!" She ordered, tugging on his arm.

Diana smiled and kiss Darien chastely on the lips. "I'm fine, don't you worry... just take care of Fitz and Eliza."

"Okay...If you're sure." Darien smiled and turned back to the bouncing kids.

Eliza giggled and tried to stand on the uneven surface again. She managed it and grinned.

"Come on Eliza, jump." Darien grinned.

Eliza jumped, laughing as she bounced.

Fitz laughed along with his sister. While Diana when to the bathroom. She came out minutes later looking slightly pale but better.

"Hey who wants some breakfast?" Diana asked.

Darien smiled at the jumping kids.

Eliza grinned. "Food!"

He laughed and picked her up, placing her on the floor.
Eliza gurgled and ran straight to Diana. "Dwana! Dwana!"

Darien grinned at Fitz. "Want some brekkie Fitz?"

Diana laughed as Eliza grabbed on to her. "Yes, what would you like? Pancakes?"

"Yes!" Fitz said. "I'm so hungry I could eat a...." Fitz scrunched up his little face to think of something big. "an Elefant."

Eliza pondered for a moment. "Bacon! Bacon! Dwana make bacon? Pwease?"

Darien laughed. "Hm...I'm not sure we have any in the kitchen...Diana, do we have any elephants for Fitz to devour?"

"Yes, yes alright," Diana laughed. "I think we have some bacon, but no elephants, sorry Fitz."

Fitz blushed slightly. "No... I want some bacon too."

Darien laughed. "I tell you what we could do though...Bacon in the shape of elephants!" He grinned.

Eliza clapped her hands. "Bacon Elefants!"

Diana laughed.

Fitz grinned. "Last on there is a rotten egg." He sped towards the kitchen.

Darien laughed.

Eliza began to run forwards, as fast as she could. Darien allowed her to run ahead, and drew level with Diana.

"Sure you're okay? You look pale..." He held her hand.

"Yeah, I'm fine, just tired that's all." Diana said. "Darien," She made sure Elizabeth and Fitzwilliam were out of earshot. "Armando has been... killed."

Darien's breath caught in his throat.
"Purgers..." His eyes grew cold and troubled.

Diana nodded, "Mr. Hemmerton's just told me."

"The kids, they have no where to go... we're their godparents... I told Mr. Hemmerton we'd take care of them."

Darien nodded. "We will. They're great kids..." He swore. "I swear, one day, I'll have revenge for this...Bloody Purgers..."

"Rotton eggs huwwy!" Eliza yelled down the corridor.

Darien forced a smile back onto his face. "We're hurrying!"

"Come here you," Diana said pulling Darien. "I don't want you to get revenge on the Purgers..."

Darien bit his lip. "I won't. Not yet...I wouldn't put you all in danger like that."

Eliza managed to scramble onto a chair. "Hey Fwitzy, me big girl now!"

"Yeah? Promise me though, you won't do anything like that?" Diana said.

"Careful Eliza," Fitz said as he got on his own chair. "Don't fall down."

"I promise. I won't go after them for revenge." Darien replied as he entered the kitchen, returning to his smiling face.

"Me no fall!" Eliza grinned, standing up.

"Yay!" Fitz applauded his sister's achievement.

"Alright, so who wants bacon?" Diana said entering the room with the same fashion as Darien.

Eliza grinned happily, and wobbled slightly on her chair.

"Me! Me! ME! Eliwa want bacon!"

Darien laughed. "Watch out you don't slip Eliza."

"I got her!," Fitz said supporting his sister. "And I want bacon too."

"Okay then," Diana said. "I'll get cooking..." She put on the pan and starting frying.

"Darien, would you like some bacon too?" She gave Darien a smile.

Darien grinned. "Yes please, love." He gave her a peck on the cheek.

"Bacon! Bacon! Bacon!" Eliza clapped her hands, no longer afraid of falling as Fitz supported her.
