Lessons and Assignments

Max knew the answer, but he was going to let someone else answer it this time. He sat there. looking around at the rest of the class.

Raven looked up from her book and answered in a boredom tone without even raising her hand "Salazar Slytherin" she sighed returning back to her book.

Becca and Delilah smiled and greatfully took the candy and Hot chocolate and sat down. They noticed that Raven was in the same class as they were.

"Look its Raven," Becca whispered in a disgusted tone.
"Great," Delilah scowled drinking her hot chocolate.

Max watched as the girl raised her hand in a bored manner, and then overheard the two other girls. He wondered why they were so disgusted by the other girl.

((oh just to let you know Raven didn't raise her hand, lol))

Raven drank the last of her hot chocolate feeling a little better from the cold she was trying to fight off. She wiped the liquid off her lips and gave a small sneeze. She took out a tissue and wiped her nose and gave a small sniff continuing on reading her book knowing Becca and Delilah was talking about her. She controlled her emotions and let it slid enjoying her book.

Becca thought it would be funny to get Raven aggrivated, she knew Raven can control her emotions so she just wanted to burst her bubble since she certainly did not like Raven.

Becca got a old parchment paper and crumpled it up, she waited when the teacher was not looking and threw it at the back of Raven's. Becca and Delilah tried so hard not to burst out laughing and did little snorts here and there.

Raven felt something hit the back of her head while she was reading peacefully. She picked up the crumpled up the old piece of paper and unraveled it reading the top of it saying "Becca Diggory." She clenched the piece of parchment and took a deep breath. Raven didn't want to tell on them since she is not a snitch and she is not childish. She simply got up, threw the piece of paper away, sat down, and gave Becca and Delilah a fierce threatening stare. She then went back to reading.

Max looked over to see them throwing parchments at the girl. "Why are you being mean to that girl?" he whispered to them.

"Because she's really annoying you try hanging around her for a day and then tell me what you think," Delilah said remembering what Raven did to her, how rude Raven was.

"Well, doesn't being rude to her make you sink just as low?" He hoped that this didn't sound offensive. He just wanted to point that out.

Becca thought about what he said and he was right, "I suppose your right," she sighed. continueing on to listen to the professor.

Max was relieved, he wasn't sure how the girl was going to respond. he was worried she'd be angry. "So, what's your name?" Max asked her.

Raven eyes looked up from her book and looked at him with a cold hard stare, she was going to say something rude or uncalled for until she felt Cosette nudge her side and sighed, "my name is Raven, and you?" Raven asked.

Cosette smiled happily and was relieved there wasn't going to be any fighting or argueing.

"I'm Max." He answered. "It's my first year, here."

"That's cool! It's my first year here also," Cosette smiled.
"Woop-di-do" Raven said boredly looking back at her book.

Max blinked, then looked over at Cosette. "Not very cheerful, is she?"

"I never saw her cheerful once before," Cosette laughed.
Raven gave a face and was continuing on in her book.

Max laughed. "Yeah. Guess that's just her way." he said. "How did you two become friends?"

"Well the school's nurse just kind of put us together, I help Raven a lot with her homework and we just kind of bonded, huh Raven?"

Raven just sat there continuing to read.

"But, she can still be rude at times," Cosette laughed.

"Very good, Raven." Horatio nodded, "Five points to Slytherin." he noticed her hand had not raised, but did not say anything.

"Enough classwork for today." he shouted happily as if school was over for himself. "Anyone up to a game before I assign homework?" he had watched the exchanges out of the corner of his eye as he had continued the lesson... Slytherins were the way they were, he knew and Hufflepuffs and Gryffindors stayed the same as well. Even back when he had been in Hogwarts himself... 164 years ago.

Max laughed. He was glad to be conversing with someone for once. Most people thought he was weird, and sort of avoided him. "So what are you doing for the Holidays?" he asked her.

Cosette smiled replying to the professor, "I would like to play a game!" then turned to Max, "I'm going home to see my family."

Becca and Delilah also smiled, "WE WANT TO PLAY ALSO!" they smiled.

"Yeah!" Max said as well, "I wanna play!"

Horatio beamed. "Alright, I've Never with a twist... only magical things may be said. Everyone up from their seats who want to play... and..." he levitated some chairs into a circle. "Chocolate as well." he murmured, passing out muggle hershey kisses.

"Now... I'll go first, just because." rubbing his bearded chin, he smiled. "I've Never braided my hair."
