La Casa de Las Casillas - En Espana

"Indeed." Eglantine sipped the last of her wine, grateful that she had not slipped into that corner.

"Here I'll give you my card," Armando said. "For the next time you find yourself in Espana, or if you need a Curse-breaker."

He whooshed his wand and appeared a magical call card.

Eglantine accepted the card and slid it into her glove. She doubted that she would ever be in Spain again or ever be in need of a curse-breaker, but it seemed rude to refuse it.

"If you do ever tire of being a curse-breaker, I'm sure Hogwarts would be happy to accept you as a professor." she smiled. He seemed very nice, maybe a bit too nice. But then again she had always been overcautious

He chuckled as he sipped his wine. "I don't think Dianita would like her Tio teaching at Hogwarts."

"Ah, your niece attends Hogwarts?" she questioned, hoping he would not think she was prying.

"Si, and so does yours." He said chuckling in a friendly matter. "Did you forget already? Her name is Diana, I've also a nephew of the same age who goes to Durmstrang."

Eglantine paled. "I...I am sorry." she felt incredibly daft. "Forgive my poor memory."

Darien pondered what to say.
"Um...really great wine?" He laughed. "No, I'm just kidding. Well, it's a party and I'm a teenage boy...there is no force on earth that could even attempt to keep me away."
He glanced around and noticed a familiar pony-boy. He held the gaze for a moment then turned away.
"Nice place you guys have here."
He remarked, grin growing almost arrogant.

"Oh yeah," Diana said looking around. "Do you want to go in the gardens? There are so many people here."

"Sure." Darien smiled. "I can barely hear myself in here..."

Diana smiled and lead him into the maze gardens outside.

"Oh nothing to forgive Senorita," Armando said kindly. "I myself go into a room and the next second forget why I went in the first place!"

Darien laughed. "When you said garden, I didn't know you meant maze."

"Yeah," Diana said bashfully, "my Grandparents are a bit... extravegant."

"Tell me about it." Darien rolled his eyes. "My grandfather devoted his life to 'perfecting' our manor. There are so many secret rooms, passages, underground cellars, everything."

"You sound like you don't like it much." Diana observed.

"I used to, it was good for hide and seek...But now, I'll have to run it one day." He gazed blankly at a wall.
"It kinda takes the fun out of it."

Diana nodded in understanding. "Yeah, forunately, I won't be running this." She said glancing at the manor a bit bittersweetly. "It will go to my cousin, the next male heir." Unless I marry him.

Darien smiled. "You know, I really like you."

((Omg that was mushy.))

Diana was grateful for the mask that hid her face or else he would have noticed that she was as red as the gown she was wearing.

"I..." She said shyly, "I like you too."

((I know...and so does Darien ))

Darien leant forwards hesitantly.

Diana thought he was being awfully forward but she was surprise that she didn't really mind in the least. It was really odd of her, she knew virtually nothing about him. She didn't even know how he looked like! But there was something in the air. She threw caution at the wind and leant forward to meet him half-way through.

Darien suddenly realised that he had no idea who he was kissing.
He pulled away and yanked off his mask. "Sorry, that was rude of me. You don't even know my name..hah...um..."
He was stammering.
"Yeah...this is awkward. I'm...I'm Darien...Vaight. I kinda crashed this party. Please don't hate me."

Diana blinked several times. "Vaight?" She repeated in disbelief. Vaight was her family's enemy. They were villains. They were... well whatever they were she decided she really didn't care.

"What a coincidence?" She pulled her mask off. "I'm Diana Casillas."

Darien was frozen. Casillas...His families arch-enemies...But did he care? Well, his family hated him already...
"Well, this is awkward...Our families hating each other and all that." He almost laughed. "But, I would like to point out that I still like you...despite the whole feud thing."

It seemed as if Diana's normal mind went way and the words were out of her mouth before she really thought about them.

Diana said. "I like you too Vaight."

But as she said it, the words rang true. She did like him. A lot.
