Top of the Astronomy Tower ((When there isn't a class))

"Some were secret in Russia." Ciaran muttered, the light in his eyes dimming from the chuckle he had had at the McDonalds and pureblood comment. "None of them pleasant, lass. Ya know about some missions right after the war..."

Kiara nodded in understanding " Yes I was on a few of those myself, don't worry I know, though unpleasant isn't the word I would use" she said remembering the hundreds of inferi.

She shock her head pushing the memory away.

"Aye, there's other words... none to really be fitting though." He sighed. "Ours is and was a nasty duty. I love it, but hate it too."

Kiara nodded "I miss it sometimes you know... but hogwarts seem to make for it... Oh all the thing the a have gone in this castle that last few months have been unblievable." she said deciding to change to topic to something they could talk openly about.

"Aye, I'd imagine..." he chuckled, the mirth reasserting itself in his eyes. "Tell me about it."

"Oh you know the usual.. mountain trolls, My insane Dark lord cousin Voldie wanting to tourment me for a bit. Drama between staff members. Very powerful dark, but ingeinous magic, talented students and all sorts of other things. Sounds almost like being an Auror on the feild agian....does it not?" she with a amused smile.

"Who ever said running this school was easier and less dangerous then being an Auror obviously never attended this school" she added.

Kiara arrived in the astronomy tower and all but fell to her knees in sobs.

With only one question going through her mind "why?"

Her tears dripped in to the adoption papers through her blurry vision saw "Tom Riddle jr.. Father... Eglantian Rosier... Mother.

Eglantine had finally tracked Kiara down/up to the Astronomy Tower after looking everywhere for her. Tired and shaking from the magical energy needed to look "everywhere", Eglantine opened the needed covering and "stepped" out into the tower's top.
Seeing Kiara sitting there, she immediately became concerned and quickly approached her.
"Kiara?" she asked, wondering what had happened. "What happened, lieb?"

Kiara turned and saw Eglantine, she folded the papers in half closeing them and quickly place them in the journal.

She didn't know how to really go about confronting Eglantine yet... she was still confused and in shock still as it was.. she was still trying to shut that part of her self up the part the kept yelling over and over that is couldn't be true.

"Had... a meeting at the ministry.... it went unexpectedly" she muttered wiping to tears from her face.

Eglantine nodded, still not seeing why Kiara was so upset. It wasn't like her to cry over a meeting...unless...
"Was it with that...uncle of yours?" she asked softly, eyes glancing down to the grey faded journal Kiara had in her hands. She gasped lightly.
"Where did you get that?" Eglantine asked, sounding more surprised than anything else. "It looks like the one I had as a child." she patted Kiara's shoulder. "Lost it when we moved from Germany I believe..."

Kiara nodded, " He summonded me there through a ministry summonds... I had to go...." she paused wondering if she should say..

Looking down at the journal she sighed and bit her lip...

"There was one other at the meeting...." she stalled looking Eglantine in the eye.

"Charles DeLanquar gave me the this journal" she stated.

Eglantine nodded, conjuring a box and then transfiguring into a wheelchair. Sighing as she sunk into it, Kiara's next statement caught her off guard.

"Why would he had it?" she asked, perplexed. "May I see it? Cannot be mine... He would not have it."

Kiara sighed, it was now or never... "Oh it's your alright...." she said opening the book and taking the adoption and blood papers out.. she would show them to her after.

Then she handed the journal over to her, "I am not sure how it came to be in his possasion" she said softy.

Eglantine raised an eyebrow as she accepted the journal, gently opening it. Sure enough, her name was written in careful cursive across the front page.

She briefly read the first few entries, noting that they all seemed to be in order... the fact she had received the journal from her father on her 8th birthday and that she had only written secrets in it.
"He must have found it..." she murmured, not getting why Kiara was making such a big deal out of it. Maybe she had found it odd that even at such a young age, Eglantine had been so keen on the dark arts...and had constantly strived to learn more of them...

Kiara inclined her head "Yes... Eglantine I was curious about one entry...." she said fiddling with the picture in her pocket.

"Why didn't you tell me you had another child" she said with a flick of her wrist to make the journal flip to the desired page.

Pulling out the photo from her pocket she handed it to her, "This picture was with that entry" she said blankly.

Eglantine leaned forward slightly to see both the entry and then the picture. Time stopped as she stared in shock at the picture, having not even read the entry yet.
Her trembling hand lifted to take the picture from Kiara.
"I...never..." she trailed off. Tom Riddle...she knew what the man looked like and he had never held her like that...and...oh it was so very wrong. She had admired him...but never...she hadn't she knew she hadn't.

Kiara glanced away, a bit puzzled with Eglantines confusion... "Well apparently you did... Do you not remember?" she asked.

"Remember what?" Eglantine gasped, still staring at the picture as it played it again and again. "This was never taken..." she murmured. "Where did you get this?"

Her eyes filled with tears again, "It came with the Journal.... I am proof of what happened Eglantine! The baby in the picture is Me!" she said as she handed the adoption paper and Blood test to Eglantine to look at.

"I am your real daughter it seems..: she muttered.

Eglantine took the papers, green eyes wide and hands shaking violently. "It can't be..." she whispered, dropping the papers. "No...I refuse to believe it." she murmured. But the proof was there...
"I have no memory of this." she lifted her hand to her mouth and fell back into the wheelchair.
"I would remember...I know I would."

Kiara looked at her in dissblief but was slightly relieved as well, she hadn't liked the idea Eglantine had kept this from her.

She thought for a moment....

"Someone must have earsed your memory then... its the only thing that makes sense." she muttered.

As she gazed out to the evening sky... this was insane... it was so hard to wrap her head around it.

"I am sorry I dropped it on you like that, I did it know better then Delanquar and My "dear" Uncle did to me" she said blankly she had to many emotions runing through her mind it was impossible to display just one.

Eglantine just nodded, too dazed to do anything else. So...her memory had been tampered with. Charles wasn't a strong enough wizard to break her like that...only her father would be capable of that and have the motive.

She looked back at the journal, flipping the next page. Her own voice read the entry.

"We have arrived safely in Egypt. Terina is sleeping deeply in her bed. All day she watched all I do with large blue eyes... her hair is dark, but from the Rosier, not Riddle. Encleara adores her and constantly tickles her rosy cheeks and strokes her soft baby hair.
I have set up a secret account for Terina when she grows older. Hopefully I will have no need to give it to her until we are safe from my family, but I will not trust in a false hope."

Her eyes flashed remembrance as she sighed. "Three years ago I found an account I did not remember making. It was sealed for someone and I was never able to convince the goblins that I was Eglantine Rosier..."

Kiara nodded, "I guess I know why my father was so freaked out when I did my first bit of magic.... and why my mother never really was that maternal...." she trailed off.

"I.. I don't really know what to say... I.. umm" she didn't know what tell Eglantine. Nothing was all that diferent, other then them knowing right? And then then seemed to hit her Voldemort was her father... but yet Eglantine being her mother, for real.. she could live with that.

"Nothing has really changed, I was related to Voldemort anyway... it..it isn't that different, and I am legally your daughter anyway.. "

Eglantine muttered in German under her breath, sounding strangely relieved. "I think it could be worse..." she murmured, smiling. "But if only I had been able to keep you..." A tear ran down her cheek as she imagined how wonderful it would have been to raise her daughter.

Kiara sighed, and moved over to Eglantine, and kneeled down " I wish you could have to Eglantine... trust me. But think what are the chance we would even meet again? not mention you legaly naming me your daughter... can you imagine the chances of that happening? and it happened. It could have been way worse..." she said quietly.
