Common Room

Ana turned quickly. Who was he? He had to be a Slytherin, no other houses could get in.
"He's Viper's brother. He was in the HM's office earlier." Darien whispered to the other three.
Ana watched him cautiously. "Can we help you?"

Amy and Aiden went into a mental conversation of their own.

"Not a good idea Amy, they're parents will know who we are for sure, plus it doesn't help we are practicaly their cousins. Our father is their mothers disowned brother. They don't know they have an uncle, but their parents will know who we are" warned Aiden.

"So what? Aiden they won't say anything they are ashamed of their squib family remember? They won't admit it, not in front of their children anyway. Besides Ana and Darien could make powerful allies" said Amy.

Then they saw a man enter the common room.

"A Viper" the both thought at once standing from the couch and giving a simle and a nod.

Dracovan shook the raven hair out of his eyes and smiled roguishly and shrugged. "That would depend my dear. First tell me your name and I'll let you know." The last thing Dracovan wanted as the spawn of one of his enemies helping him on his mission.

"Ana Vaight...This is my brother Darien, and our friends..."
Ana glanced at the twins, trying to ask them if she should tell him their names, using only her eyes.

Dracovan grinned. "Oh, I have hit the jackpot indeed! Vaights! How wonderful!" He smirked, thinking of how he and his sister were good friends with their father Reginald.

"And you two?" he asked the twins sitting near him.

Ana glanced at Darien.
Vaights were a jackpot?
But he was a Viper...He was probably just glad they weren't enemies or something.
Darien felt a prickling sense of unease, as he stood up, casually edging nearer to his sister, hand edging to his pocket, as he waited for the twins to reply.

Dracovan smirked as he sat on an empty black leather chair. "Oh no need to feel any unease my dear boy, I meant it in an ecstatic tone. I'm sure my sister has told you that we and your father are friends."

Ana sat back down on the sofa, Darien sitting much more slowly.
"Of course Sir..."

Hm...I still don't trust him Ana.
I wish we could talk to the twins telepathically. It'd be like a four-way conversation... Ana thought.
It would...
"So how can we help, Sir?" Ana asked.

A mark of respect. He's taller and probably better at magic than us, brother.
You and Dad are too similar.
Oh, I'll stay out of Azkaban longer than you then. Ana smirked.

Amy smiled and said.

"It is a honor to meet you sir, I am Amy Avalon this is my twin brother Aiden, how may we be of service?"

Dracovan raised an eyebrow at the boy's uneasiness. "Relax, dear boy. There's no need to fear me. If anything, you should consider me as your ally."

He grinned at the twins willingness. "Ah, there you see! There really is no need for nervousness. We are after all, all serpents! Avalons, eh? How extraordinary! The frst witch and wizard to come in..how many years was it?" he laughed. "It's lovely to meet you all! I trust you are all in Slytherin for a reason?"

Ana rolled her eyes. "He doesn't trust anyone. He thinks it'll make him live longer."
Darien folded his arms. "You say not to trust you, Ana."
"And you trusted that advice?" She turned back to Dracovan, awaiting his response.

Dracovan smiled. "You sound exactly like my sister. I see she has taught you well. Tell me, are you fond of your head of house?"

Ana was careful not to look at Darien.
"Yes, she is a true Slytherin."

"Of course sir, we plan to prove our selves to the Wizarding world" they said as one

Then Aiden felt whsipers, in his head he couldn't make it out but they saying.

"Hey who is that?" he thought to the voices.

"Of course. How about...the Head of Gryffindor House? Professor Delanquar? Are any of you attached to her?"

Ana felt a jab at her mind.
She heard Aiden asking who it was.
Aiden? It's Ana...Oh, and Darien.
Darien flinched at the prescence, and immediatly pulled out of the conversation.
He does that, sorry. Ana thought.
"Professor DeLanquar...She knows her subject, but she doesn't really understand the house rivalries." Darien answered, allowing Ana to continue the mental conversation.

Amy shock her head, "No not at all, although I do hope you not planing on killing her.."

"I want to take advance transfiguation lesson, can't very well have them if she is dead no can we?"

At the same time Aiden was trying to talk with Ana.

""How am I doing this? Have only been able to talk with Amy before?"

Dracovan nodded, his smile growing. "Have no fear, Amy. Professor Delanquar is very much safe. I will not touch a hair on her head."

"So whose hairs do you intend to harm? Anyone I despise?" Darien asked, grinning evilly.

Ana frowned slightly.
I don't know...It's like legilimency...Me and Darien have talked before, slight telepathy, but nothing like this.
She laughed in her head.
I was just saying how it would be cool to have me, Darien, you and Amy in one big telepathic conversation! What do you reckon about Dracovan? I think he's got a plan up his sleeve, but I don't know why he'd need our help. Ana surveyed Dracovan, searching for a clue.

Dracovan shrugged. "Possibly. You may find the midget adorable or you may depise him. I know not. I personally loathe the sight of him." Dracovan scowled.

Amy nodded and glared over at her brother something wierd was going on in her brothers head.

""What are you doing over their Aiden?""

Then continueing her conversation with Dracovan.

"What do you have in mind then?" she asked her Malfoy blood showing through.

How does this work? Can anyone just join a conversation? Ana asked Aiden, still wondering what Dracovan was planning.
Darien was deep in thought. A midget. Adorable. What was adorable? A baby?
Was there a baby in Hogwarts?
Ana? Who was that?
Ana sighed. Stick to one conversation Darien, don't strain yourself.
Fine. I'll leave you two alone... Darien withdrew to his own mind.
Ana rolled her eyes.
Darien racked his brains.
What was that kid that's always with DeLanquar?
Darien's face suddenly became blank.

Dracovan nodded. "I see you know what I speak of. Wonderful! Slytherins with brains! Indeed, I don't know about you but the sight of that child gives me a migraine. Lucky for my sister she does not feel pain, but I do."

"What do you intend to do about this...migrane?" Darien asked. The thought of murdering a child did not fit well with his conscience...
Ana's mind was working overtime, trying to hold a conversation, listen to Dracovan and work out how she could hear Aiden. She decided to work it out later, splitting her attention between Aiden and Dracovan.
So what's the plan?
He wants to get rid of that kid that's always with DeLanquar.

Aiden thought about it, "

"I don't know for, but I think only you, me, Darien and Amy can enter this. Amy can block her thought from me but I can't block from her, so she is probably half listening to us right now. Hey I might be a Natural legilimens, maybe that is way I can't learn Occlumency"

Amy shrugged at her brothers mental conversation and turned back to Dracvoan.

"You mean her son? yes he is a little pain the neck isn't he? and he appeared out of no where"
