Common Room

Dracovan smiled, pleased with the student's willingness. "Very well. Fair enough. So you shall go to Professor Delanquar and distract her and I shall annihilate her precious baby."

"Okay." Darien stood up. "Now?"
Ana stood next to her brother.

"I do want to ask one thing first, Why do you want to kill the kid? What purpose would killing him serve. Not that I am questioning you I am just curious" asked Amy.

Ana's hand moved back to her wand pocket, and she saw Darien tense, ready to run.
Dracovan was unpredictable...And it was making them uneasy.

Dracovan shrugged. "Same reason you're asking me. Curiousity."

Ana was puzzled, but decided not to ask.
"Shall we go and distract the professor now sir?"

Dracovan grinned. "Indeed." he said as he nodded the teens off. Deep down he knew that'd he'd fail and that more than likely this would be his last hour. But iit was all worth it if it helped Amaranth realize her true destiny.

Ana and Darien returned to the common room and Darien sat back on the sofa, his head leant backwards.
Ana went straight up to her dorm, and came back with Darien's eagle, his quest completed. She quickly opened the letter and read it.
"Yes, Father and Mother will both be there. Father also suggests we come be brooms, apparantly there's been some trouble with the fireplaces."
Darien sat upright. "Brilliant. It must be my lucky day." He quickly did some mental calculations. "On brooms, I reckon it'll take two hours from here."
Ana rolled her eyes. "No, we fly our brooms to the station and get a train. When we get out of the muggle area, we fly home."
Darien crossed his arms. "Fine, be boring. Have you told the twins?"
Ana sighed. "I only just recieved this, genius! I'll wait til they come back, it's nearly curfew anyway."

Amy and Aiden arrived back in the common room there blank slytherin face back on.

"Hello Ana.."

"Darien"

They greeted

"Hi." Darien smiled, upside down as he leant his head further back over the sofa arm.
"I just got a reply from our parents." Ana began. "They say it's fine for you to come over... We get the train from Hogsmeade, down to Sussex, and then when we're away from muggles, we fly the rest of the way. I'm just going to ask Viper for permission. I'll let you know." She smiled, tapping her head, as she left the room.
Darien sighed. "And I am still waiting for detention...deja vu."
After a while, Darien asked Ana how it was going.
We have permission.
Good. Darien smiled. Come back to the common room.
Ana rolled her eyes. I'm on my way.
"We have permission from Professor Viper." Darien told the twins.

Ana and Darien wandered into the common room.
"I'm going to check through my essay." Darien muttered. He needed some alone time.
"Have fun brother." Ana waved as Darien turned to go.
"See y'all later." He said to the twins.

The twins nodded. "See you Darien".

Then they turned to Ana,

"So what does your father think of us now?" Aiden asked.

Darien wandered out of the common room, looking for somewhere quiet and preferably deserted to 'edit' his essays.
Ana grinned.
"He pretty much despises you...sorry. However, he's accepted that he can't decide whom me and Darien befriend and will at least be courteous if you see him again."
She winced.
"And he'd like you to keep Darien's little animagus thing a secret from anyone he knows really. I didn't mention that half the staff already know."

"Alight right and don't worry about the wolf thing. Hopfully with the occulemcy lessons are for. And as much as it pains us if see your parents again we will behave to" Thought Amy.

Ana laughed.
"Don't worry, they'll probably avoid you, and you can easily avoid them. What you really need to worry about is if they like you. If they grow to like you, they will never leave you alone!"

Aiden laughed, "Good, I was afriad Amy's comment before left was going to be our last"

Amy humfed "Well it was true, we stunned their brains for a minute, at least that is a better reason to hate us then just who our parents are"

"Speaking of Mum and Dad we should wirte them, can you imagine the look on there face's when we tell them who we are friends with?"

Ana felt awkward. "Um...do you think they will react quite as badly as my parents?"

Aiden sighed, "Probably, hmm for ower parents being on opposite ends of the sectrum they are remarably the same, only our parents don't have magic. Ironic isn't it?"

"Ridiculously." Ana rolled her eyes. "Parents. On the bright side, might be a bit less duelling...unless your parents happen to be swordsmen?"

The twins shook there heads.

"No, dueling in to muggle world is a bit out dated... I just hope they don't want to meet you. Could be even more akward for you guys as they will know who you are from the start." said Amy

Ana winced. "Yup, can imagine they might not be overly friendly...with good reason."
She sighed. "I am so glad I'm at school right now..."

Aiden nodded "So are we, and we are glad our parents arn't magical they can't send howlers"

Ana laughed. "My parents wouldn't be able to stand the shame of yelling at their children in public. Everything has to be secret with them."

"Ana!" Darien hurtled into the common room. "You need to help me."
Ana placed the book aside.
"What now brother?"
"Well, Diana's family are making her marry Nick, you know...Pony boy...anyway, I need to help her out of it!"
Ana folded her arms. "Alright. Idea...I can get you in, but I want something in return."
"Anything!"
"Diana's locket."
Darien was surprised. "Why?"
"Am I a question booth? No, I'm not. It's a need to know basis, and you don't make the cut. Now, do we have a deal?"
"But-"
Ana picked up the book. "Nope. No bargaining."
Darien swore. "Fine."
"Good boy. Wait here."
She ran up the stairs and back down again. "Polyjuice potion. Get Nick's hair, put it in it, deal with him, go through the ceremony and then it will be null and void because you aren't actually Nick."
Darien blinked. "You are a genius."
"I know. Now go away." Ana was hidden behind the book again.
"See ya, little sis! I'm off to save the world!" He ruffled her hair.
"OI!"
"Oh, I'm sorry did I mess up your hair? Wouldn't want any Slytherin guys to see you like that..."
"Shut your mouth. And you are hardly saving the world."
"Nope, but I'm saving mine." He hurtled out, the door closing slowly behind him.
"Cliched!!"
"I know it!" Darien shouted back.
"Hey, don't get hit by a broom...Or do. Whatever." Ana closed the door with a flick of her wand, and continued reading.
----A while later-------
Ana put her book aside as her brother barged into the common room.
"You owe me-"
"Here." He threw a heavy locket at her. "I hope you're happy."
"Ecstatic." Ana grinned, gazing at the locket.
Darien stomped up the stairs, and into his dorm. Ana followed, still gazing at the locket.
And the possibilities it held.

The twins entered the common room and Amy summond a pain relief potion and handed it to Darien.

"You will be glad it is at your bedside trust me, Occulmency headachs are the worst"
