Cool. Ana glanced at Dracovan.
That would make sense... So could you read anyone's minds? Or is it just us four?
Ana grinned to herself.
Can you read Dracovan's mind? Ana asked, hoping Aiden wouldn't be offended.

Aiden looked over at the elder Viper

He had been listening to sister to talk to him and he wants to hurt a kid, a baby? that didn't bode well in trust department.

"I could try, though it seems to be easier to pick up strong mental bonds between siblings like yours and Darien's. Which is a weird though usually only twins have this ability"

Focusing on the elder Viper Aiden attempted to enter his mind.

Ana waited trying to keep her mind blank, not wanting to distract Aiden from his attempt to enter Dracovan's mind..

Dracovan smirked. Thanks to his childhood he was an accomplished legilimence and occlumens and was well aware of the outside conversation around him. "Nice try, Mr.Vaight, but remember, this is a Viper you are speaking to. Not a stupid Weasly." he laughed coldly. "Now, who is willing to begin their ascent to power?"

Ana turned to give full attention to Dracovan.
"Ascent to power?"
Darien glanced at her. She smiled, but the smile faded.
"Excuse me for seeming rude Sir, but what would that involve...and is it likely to succeed?"

Dracovan nodded, pleased to see he had made some impact. "You see, with the dark lord out of the way, the world now thinks we are truly at peace. Their guards will waver, strengths diminish. Now is the time to strike." he met each of the students eyes. "I can make the world kneel at your feet, if you will but kneel at mine."

Poetic... How'd it go Aiden?
She couldn't help thinking she'd have to be careful of what she thought, now more people could access her mind.
And Aiden had probably heard that thought. This was confusing.
Darien took over the conversation with Dracovan, leaving Ana to communicate with Aiden and Amy, but not fully withdrawing his mind, so he could be contacted.
"What would this...kneeling at your feet involve?" Darien asked.

Amy glared at her brother.
"Smooth move Enstine"

Listening to Dracovan's answer Amy thought over to Aiden.

Not likely, we have bowed before enough people

"Watch it sis... not well at all Ana

Dracovan shrugged carelessly, laying against the seat with his feet across the chair as he ran his fingers against his long raven locks, looking as though he was already royalty..

"Not much. Just obeying my occasional wish and command and doing anything at your hearts content: ruling over others, bending them to your will...All you need is to prove your loyalty and all will be well." he smirked. "You don't even have to kneel. Just give the ocasional bow and that will suffice."

Great. If it comes to the crunch, I suggest we run. Away. And hide. In that order. But at the moment, should he succeed, we will profit...But if not...
We could take over on our own, without him. Darien thought.
As if. He has experience...We are four teenagers.
Why are you taking his side Ana?
Because I want to survive. If we side with him, and he fails, we can say we were afraid. We are teenagers, we are 'innocent'...And if he suceeds, we shall profit. And bear in mind, if we don't go along with this...I doubt we will walk away alive. I am just being realistic. I don't want to die. Not yet, not now. And don't go all macho on me, we can't win this fight. No chance. And if we did, we would lose anyway, be sent to Azkaban for murder. We have to think. We have to go along with this.
Darien breathed out a sigh. You're right Ana.
Ana felt a pang of fear. What if the twins went against Dracovan? What do you guys think?
"What would this...loyalty test involve?" Darien asked Dracovan.

Aiden stayed silent not letting his thought go into the opened for fear of Dracovan peering into his mind and giving them away.

"I don't know, he is a dark lord copy cat still. What has he done to get the title of world dominater? and our leader?

Thought out Amy being sure that her thoughts were shielded form Dracovan.

Can he hear us? Darien wondered.
Yes, so shield your thoughts. Ana shot back at him.

Ana did not reply.
Well, the way I see it, we don't have a choice. But we need to find out more about him...and this task he wants us to do.
"So, what do you want us to do Sir?" Ana asked, dreading the answer.

Dracovan smiled. "Prove your loyalty to me. Eliminate Professor Delanquar's bundle of joy. Do that and I will reward you beyond your wildest dreams."

((Please don't let him hear her, that is the whole point behind her being a natural Occlumens))

Amy turned to Aiden hightennig her Occlumency sheild to so Dracovan wouldn't easvdrop on them.

"I say we wait, he is asking us for our support not the other way around. I don't want to "bow" to him unless he proves him self to us"

"And he wants us to kill a kid, what has he got against the brat anyway?"

What's he going to do to make himself leader of all? He hasn't done anything yet! Darien was outraged. He has nothing to give us! Why should we do anything he says?
He isn't exactly promising. Ana agreed.
"Excuse me Sir, but if we agree to this, what proof do we have that you will conquer the world?" Darien asked.
Ana cursed inwardly. Darien...There's blunt and then there's you.

((Does he 'eliminate' the kid?))

Amy nodded,

"Yes, Lord Voldemort came far he took over britain, but not the more powerful countries like the USA. What are you going to do that he didn't?"

Ana hid a grin.
Nice one Amy. She thought, hoping Amy would hear, but Dracovan wouldn't.
She eagerly awaited Dracovan's response.

Amy winked and though over to Darien and Ana.

"The way I see it he is asking us to follow him not the other way around. he needs to gain our loyalty first. I won't become his slave if I don't have to"

Darien nodded slightly. I agree. But I still doubt we can beat him in a duel. We want to avoid that option.

Dracovan sighed. He was getting annoyed now "I escaped from Azkaban. All on my own without even a wand. I have been trained to be a ruler since birth. I know curses you cannot even spell. My sister is one of the most powerful potions mistress's of the age. Do you really doubt my abilities?" he challenged.

Darien crossed his arms.
"We don't doubt them, we just want proof...You can't blame us for not being mindless Hufflepuffs and following you without any guarentees. I suggest, that if we secure you the infant, then you curse the thing into oblivion. That way we both prove ourselves to each other. Besides, we are only teenagers. How do you know we have the bottle to finish the thing off? This way, you'll know the brat will be dealt with properly."
Ana waited, hand near wand, ready to react in a split second.

Dracovan nodded. "Fair enough. I tell you what. Distract Professor Delanquar and I'll finish him off. And to show how rewarded you'll be, I'll give all of you each a bottle of felix felicies: liguid luck!" he said, conjuring four bottles and then banishing them when he knew he had the teens attetnion. "Distract and get liquid luck. That's all there is to it."

Sounds good to me. Ana thought to the other three.
Yes, much more reasonable, and simple. Darien replied.
What do you two reckon?Ana asked the twins.

Aiden shrugged and turned to his sister.

"I go where ever you go sis"

Amy sighed in defeat but she still didn't like the idea of bowing before someone.

"Very well,we are with you, to do you as you wish..... But I won't bow, I am not a house elf"

She stared at the elder Viper defiantly she didn't care if he liked it or not, she would assist him and do as he wanted when his asked.

"I will bow to you when you are lord of the world, not before"

Ana nodded, Darien smiling slightly.
They waited in silence for Dracovan's reply.
